Another thing babies absolutely love is animals! Explore and enjoy a beautiful sunny day at the zoo. Go by their favorite animals and make the sounds alongside them. It is another educational yet fun activity for them!
If you do not have a zoo close by, the pet store is another way to show animals to your babies. It is free, and you can see some pretty exciting things! You can also see a farm if they are nearby or an aquarium.
4. Sidewalk Chalk
As another great summer activity for babies, especially if your baby is a little bit older, is to play with sidewalk chalk with them. They will enjoy seeing bright colors and the lines they scribble. It is also a great way to help your baby strengthen their hand muscles and fine motor skills.

6. Mummy and Me Class
If you simply want a change in scenery and enjoy some time with your baby besides what you are already doing, you might have fun in a mummy and me class! You can do yoga, especially outside during the beautiful summer weather.
For a cheaper option, find some neighbors or friends who are also mums and get a playgroup together. Take turns choosing the fun activity you will do with your baby. You will not only get to interact with your baby but also other mums!
All babies love playing with bubbles. This is another great summer activity for babies because they will have fun despite what age they are! If they are younger, they will be fascinated as you blow the bubbles by them. While summer is a beautiful time, it can also be incredibly hot! To help your baby keep cool, you can play with some ice blocks. Freeze some toys with different shapes and textures in ice. Then, have your baby explore and play with them all the while cooling off. It is super easy, free, and fun! You can have them play in the bathtub or play pool inside to keep the water from going everywhere.
10. Paint Outside
You can find edible paint, or even make your own, so it is still a safe activity for your baby. They will love to see all the fun colors as they splash around and get messy. Make sure to do this activity on a cooler day outside, so your baby doesn’t get sunburned or overheated. Having this activity outside will also help with clean up, as you can cool off and clean off with a sprinkler or hose.
What better way to enjoy outside than by having food and snacks? Set a blanket on the grass and feed your baby while taking in the sun and fresh air. You can even make fruit or breastmilk popsicles to cool off after being outside for a while.
